I invite you to comment on anything on my blog. I especially enjoy hearing from people who give me food for thought or offer different perspectives. Please let me know if you think that there’s something inaccurate or inconsistent in any of my posts, either by commenting or via my contact form. Linking to supporting information will definitely help you make your case.
I reserve the right to moderate, edit, and delete comments as I see fit. I view my blog as a conversation among guests in my living room. You are welcome to participate, as long as you treat me and other commenters with respect as I define it. In my house, follow my rules. In your house, you can follow your rules. If you don’t like my rules, don’t comment. Having said that, if you think that I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying or your intent, feel free to tell me. I make no claims to being perfect and I try to have an open mind when someone tells me that I’ve made an error.
When a comment comes from a given email address for the first time, it will be held in the moderation queue. Once I let it through, further comments from that address will automatically post. Although I usually check my queue on a regular basis, I don’t always manage to and I make no promises.
I also get a lot of comment spam, which isn’t surprising since I write about sexuality and that seems to be a target. In fact, I get so much spam that I don’t bother checking it for actual comments. Unfortunately, the filter does sometimes hold back legitimate messages, so if yours doesn’t show up on the site, contact me and let me know.
